Honiton based plumbing and heating company Synergi SW are delighted to have scooped ‘Best Plumbing Maintenance & Repairs Company, South West England’ in the 2022 BUILD Magazine Construction and Engineering Awards.
After a public nomination process, BUILD’s research team judged the winners based on various criteria including business growth, online reputation, client feedback and client dedication.
Synergi’s Office Manager Ameana Saunders said, “This award is a testament to our team of engineers and office support staff who have all worked so hard over the last year. We strive to go above and beyond, with customer satisfaction at the centre of everything we do, so we are delighted to have been recognised by BUILD’s judges as the best in the South West.”

“I have a holiday rental in Devon and had to swap a washing machine at short notice. The delivery company AO.Com refused to install the item ( too difficult). So I called Synergi and they came to the rescue- within less than a day, they had attended at the property, swopped out the washing machine which was integrated, removed the old machine and disposed of it. My guests were very happy with the service and I am delighted that this was managed so quickly and efficiently. “I am the kind of idiotic character who angrily throws away the remote for the boiler when buying a new property thinking it was part of the huge pile of junk left by the previous owners of my new house. Upon realising my mistake I consulted with Synergi who recommended that I look to install a Hive. I’d not heard of Hive before but was assured it could be installed to my boiler and that after installation, I’d be able to control the heating on my Smart Phone or Alexa device. I was surprised to see also that the Hive unit itself was a comparable price to replacing the old and less versatile remote! When the engineer turned up, he not only turned up with the Hive but with a replacement remote just in case it wouldn’t work which struck me as the kind of forward thinking service I wish other companys would comply to. I now view this situation as a blessing in disguise because had I not thrown away the remote, I wouldn’t now be able to turn the heating on before I get home from a long few days away and I wouldn’t be able to turn it off if I forget while I’m out.
